Our people

Marisa is experienced in global trade mark filing programmes, clearance searches and contentious matters, including trade mark oppositions and cancellation actions, domain name disputes and the negotiation and drafting of settlement agreements.  Marisa is also experienced in due diligence and transactional work, including assignment projects.

Marisa works with a range of clients from start-up companies and universities to multinational companies across different industries, including luxury goods, personal care and cosmetics, medical devices and leisure sectors.  Clients include many direct overseas companies for whom Marisa provides advice on trade mark law and practice.

Education & background

Marisa has a strong background in law having graduated with a first class honours degree in Law from the University of Nottingham in 2003.

Marisa entered the profession in 2004 and qualified as a trade mark attorney in 2007. Marisa joined Withers & Rogers in 2004.

On a personal note...

Marisa’s interests include yoga and cooking.
